A Humble Beginning

I grew up from a poor background and I had to face a series of challenges that came with that.

I got Into the University in 2005 amidst the huge lack and this affected me a lot, but an experience in 2008 brought the first change in my life.

I had been forced to the street by hunger at FUTA, to beg on the street. Several minutes passed by, and I couldn’t open my mouth to beg, so I concluded that night that I wasn’t created to beg. I left the junction, got into my room, and used a knife to carve that date into the wall. I told myself that that would be the last time I would ever have to beg.

A few months later, I decided to be a student entrepreneur by selling what is popularly known as “Mishai” (bread, noodle, and fried egg). I got funds through my mother (long story) and bought all equipment, then I started at the front of the Student Union Building.

I was selling that from 7pm till 12 midnight, and I didn’t dare eat that much personally, else all profit was gone.

I also read five books that changed my life. The books were written by John Mason, Mike Murdock and Myles Munroe. In one of those books, I read a sentence that quoted Carl Bard:
“Though no one can go back to his past to have a brand new beginning. Everyone can start from now and have a brand new ending.”
That day, something changed in me. I saw a bigger me.

I moved from the food business into ICT, Graphics and Prints and so on. I gave my life to Christ later on that year.

At the start, my entrepreneurship drive was to survive and get on my academic journey. However, my journey into tech started in 2008 when I got my first web design certification and built my first machine, a sugar cane juice extractor when I was a 300L student.

I went on to set up my ICT firm that dealt in computer engineering and networking, and in my final year in 2011, I built my first yam pounding machine and cassava peeling machines as project works.

As an Agricultural Engineer, I decided I was going to produce affordable nourishing food. That’s where the vision was born and that’s where my final Journey into tech and social entrepreneurship started.

In 2010, I began sharing my knowledge by training people in various skills. That same year, I secured my first group of students. By 2011, I had successfully trained over 500 individuals in Agriculture, specifically Snail Farming (Snailery), and the production of Cleaning Agents like detergents and liquid soap. Many of those I trained went on to establish thriving businesses.

Remarkably, I was only 3 to 4 years into my own business journey at the time, and things were already going quite well…of course with many challenges and mountains surmounted along the way...and onward

And this was just the beginning

My entrepreneurial journey has always been driven by a passion for technological advancement and the desire to push Nigeria toward digital transformation.

Since I took my first steps in entrepreneurship, it’s been quite the ride. There have been challenges, triumphs, and constant learning, but my passion has always been unwavering.

One of my earliest ventures was in agriculture, where I founded Ovatech G Resources, focusing on research and development in agriculture. From there, I branched into various industries

That was very much my turning point.

What My Clients Say

On Saturday, under the tutorship of Mr. Olatunde Victor Adeoluwa, we learnt what it takes to grow a business. 'Growth Masterclass' not just in name, but in essence, in knowlege, in practicality. We grew an inch! I attended with my boss, the Don, Emeka Nobis, and we are already looking through applying all of it in Knowledge Money University, and all the other things we do.
